The sun is making a glorious appearance up in the Lakes and we couldn’t be happier… We’re lucky to be so central in the Lake District, so whenever the weather is on form, there is plenty of fabulous activities for us to get up to! We’ve collected a list of our top 3 attractions to visit whilst the sun’s out in the Lake District:
- Grizedale Forest is the perfect solution when you and your family want an excuse to get out and be active in the sun. Whether you fancy a walk or even a cycle, Grizedale boasts several walking and cycling trails, as well as hosting events throughout the year.
- We may be biased, but we think Windermere is simply gorgeous... And the best way to see it is? Windermere Lake Cruises! It is arguably one of the best ways to experience the Lake District, with views of the famous Lakeland fells, wooded shoreline and rolling countryside.
- Keeping to the theme of Windermere, we’d recommend a visit to the beautiful Claife Viewing Station on the Lake’s West shore. Having been around since the 1790s, this historic attraction has offered it’s gorgeous, alternative views of the Lake to generations of tourists!
